Message from the Secretary-General:
On behalf of the Secretariat, Faculty and staff, I welcome all second year students to the third annual Amity Law School Model United Nations. I am indeed honored on being the Secretary-General of an MUN where each Organizing Team member has worked in an honest pursuit to do the best they can to present to you a conference that will help you to better understand World Politics and International Relations.
This Model UN is a part of curriculum under Political Science-III in the third semester for second year students. Further, our Faculty has made it a mandatory exercise for all second year students and they are even marked on it. Model UN is an exercise in public speaking, teamwork, conflict resolution, leadership and research skills that are needed at perhaps every juncture of life, and Model UN helps practice these while we’re still students. It's a brilliant platform, specially for law students to help discover themselves and their potential.
The Secretariat has worked each day, for months now, in their endeavor to put together all that is required to give you an unexampled experience. It is time for you to step into the shoes of diplomats and executives to witness the true concept of Model United Nations at Amity Law School Model United Nations 2012.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference. Until then, should any doubts, questions or concerns arise, please feel free to contact me or any other member of the secretariat of ALSDMUN’12.
Regards,
Sanskriti Srivastava
